A poet who was homeless for 35 years in São Paulo, Brazil, Raimundo Arruda Sobrinho—also known as O Condicionado (The Conditioned)—wrote short poems every day, exploring psychology and mental health, philosophy, and the human condition.

Discovered by a pedestrian, his poetry gained national recognition in 2012. A tribute to his expression, this song cycle explores his unique perspective on philosophy, circumstance, and purpose—musicalizing his poetry.
