The Eleventh Heaven / El Onceavo Cielo

Serpiente de Turquesas
The turquoise snake is a symbol that permeates pre-Hispanic art and religion. Serpiente de Turquesas is inspired by the turquoise-colored rivers in the 'Huasteca' — a region in Mexico nicknamed 'turquoise snake.'
Zafiro
for violin & piano explores asterism, light, and reflection in sound, melody, and harmony.
Cantica Gelidæ
for basso profondo and live electronics (Max patch) explores the impermanence of the voice--both the human voice but also, as a metaphor of the artistic voice--and our human desire to permeate and make it last longer than it can.
Projections & Time Sculptures
