ASCAP 2021 Morton
Gould Young Composer Award
Fueyo's violin concerto Serpiente de Turquesas is the recipient of an ASCAP 2021 Morton Gould Young Composer Award. Premiered by Shannon Lee, the piece is inspired by the pre-hispanic (Mexica), mosaic sculpture knows as Serpiente de Turquesas located at the British Museum at London.

Projections I. is a piece commissioned by, dedicated, and written for Arseniy Gusev: a dear friend and great musical mind. The piece explores the refraction, reflection, and projections (in the mathematical sense) of musical materials. Arseniy most recently premiered Projections I. as part of a recital in Mixon Hall at the Cleveland Institute of Music.

Zafiro received its Mexican premiere performed by Mtro. Lanfranco Marcelletti (Principal Conductor at the Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra) and Mtra. Magdalena Hernandez (assistant concertmaster at the Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra).

Julián's collaborated with film-maker Mida Chu and composer Seon
Hwan Lee to record the soundtrack to the short film "Dreams that Trancend all Boundaries." The film won Best Soundtrack and Best Drama at All American High School Film Festival, and Best Artistic Film at Trinity International Film Festival.
