JULIÁN FUEYO

JULIÁN FUEYO
Fables is a live sound installation that investigates the liminal space and the intersections between language, music, and (animal) sound communication.
To do this, the piece juxtaposes animal vocalizations and wildlife sound communication with figurative and symbolic melodic musical material.
Fables was presented at the Marsh Botanical Gardens at Yale University, written for the launching of Yale School of Architecture magazine Paprika's Volume 8, Issue 05.
Instrumentation:
Jazz guitar, 2 percussionists, fixed electronics
