Cantica Gelidæ

Is a song for voice (basso profondo) and live electronics. All electronic sounds are a real-time manipulation of the singer's voice.

Vitales / Vitals

Is a project commissioned by the Yale School of Architecture's magazine Paprika. The piece is written for tenor, live electronics, an early-instrument consort, and modern-instrument consort. The piece investigates interiority by using the appleWatch to collect the tenor's vital signs in real-time and send them to MaxMSP for electro-acoustic processing and score data for the instrumentalists, exploring the singer's physical and temperamental interior.
